What Dad Thinks: Simple Fashion And Beauty Tips You Should Never Forget

Disclaimer: I am posting this to let women know that men also notice not only their looks and fashion choices but how they carry themselves while wearing their picks.

Please share your thoughts in the comment section of this post. I would really appreciate it.

You might have the face of Scarlett Johansson and the body of Kim Kardashian, but might find a couple of fashion and beauty tips very useful. Our bodies respond differently as we age. We must take care of ourselves and always try to look good, for our own personal fulfillment above all else.

This is something you already know, but keep forgetting. Eat well and sleep right. Too many buffet tables or triple bypass burgers will definitely make you fat, and you don’t want that. If you must eat a ton, make sure you get enough exercise the day after.

Getting enough sleep is also very important. Lack of sleep makes your skin look dull and dry. And dry, unhealthy skin ages more easily. Lack of sleep affects your bodily functions as well as your personal disposition, and a poor disposition makes you less appealing.

Let’s move on to a few very basic fashion ideas for women, well coming from a Dad like me.

It’s better to be overdressed than underdressed.

I’m not suggesting that you wear a turquoise sequined gown to your daughter’s 18th birthday party while she opts for a simple pink satin dress, but it’s probably more acceptable than seeing you in a jumper and rubber boots straight from the garden. People would rather see you stunning although a bit overdressed, than see you looking like a rag.

Keep in mind that it’s always a good idea to dress for the occasion, and to dress your age.

Avoid wearing that skimpy, backless and upper thigh bearing mini dress to your godson’s Christening, as this will leave a negative impression. And try to dress comfortably, and according to the weather. Comfort before style. No trench coats and wool scarves during the summer, please.

Who Says Dads Can't Be Fashionable?

When the word 'dad' is heard, a pair of baggy and faded jeans and oversized shirts often comes to mind.

Dads used to  be like that. In fact, some of them are still like that. But in this modern age, most dads would care about how they look like. Take a peek at the photo below and you would know what I mean.

This is not me :)  But I hope, I have sent my message across.

Anyhow, you would not need all the expensive clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and other stuffs just live a fashionable lifestyle. With some practical tips on it, right motivation and a gentleman's attitude, you would be good to go.
