Ways To Look Stylish For A Job Interview

Are you a new dad who needs a new job? Off you go online, gets lucky to spot a suitable job opening, passes the preliminary examination, then, gets scheduled for an interview.

Besides preparing answers to all possible questions that may come up, what else you have to prepare? YOURSELF. And that means looking groomed and well-dressed on that special or judgment day. J You may not know about it but human resource managers do esteem a job applicant’s façade.

To be able to wear the right and stylish clothes for a job interview, start by assessing the company profile and the position you are applying for. Is it a conservative job? If yes, you can choose to look fashionable in a suit with solid color and a cut that compliments your body frame. Your suit need not be branded.  Seeing that it fits you right is more important than anything else.

What about creative jobs? Coming for an interview in dress pants and dress shirt would be fine. In fact, denims in dark color and classic cut will do well with printed dress shirts. Polo shirts in plain solid hues or striped texture qualify too.

Final word: Do not forget to match your shoes with your outfit.

How Working Men Can Style Up

Let us face it! Not all of us are blessed to have white collar jobs or work opportunities in the offices. Some of us do the heavy work under the heat of the sun outdoors.

Since you might be dealing with tons of grime and sweat, you are thinking that there is no way you can style up just like those men who toil all day in air-conditioned rooms. Here is good news for you. You have equal opportunity as theirs. Consider the succeeding tips.

Pick clothing items that fit and will protect you at work – As your entire body moves when you work, choose clothes that fit you right. It must not be hugging your body. It must not be too loose either. Baggy clothes will make you look sloppy. Moreover, do not be afraid to spend some bucks on clothing items known for quality. For your footwear for example, choose excellent ones that can keep your feet from getting wounded.

Wear clean clothes – Although you will get dirty at work, never start the day wearing unclean clothes. If possible, bring with you extra tops with which you can change into after a day’s work outdoors.
Look for a chance to style up – This could be as simple as wearing dark denims with a cut that fits your body type well. The same is true for investing on shades, belts, caps or watches in neat design.

Wearing Jewelry: Is It Fashionable For Men?

Seldom do I see wear pieces of jewelry other than a wedding band if they are married and a wrist watch on either arm. On the other hand, there are some who overdo it; you know what I mean.

Here is a question you might ask then. Is wearing fashionable for men?

Yes, it is. But just like other fashion concerns, it must be done the right way so that you would not end up like a seaman who has just dug up  a pirate’s treasure box. Take heed of the following insights.

Less is better – For a start, select a simple watch leather straps,  a stainless ring and bracelet that are not that thick. These are great to wear in almost all types of outfit.

Match the pieces – If you are keen to observe, jewelry for men are usually made up of metal. These metals are either bronze, gold or silver. Perhaps, you have a silver bracelet, never pair it with a gold necklace. Gold goes with gold and bronze goes with bronze.

Stay away from hyphalooting designs – You may not agree with me but over-designed jewelry looks very cheap. Stick with classic patterns.

Know your outfit – There are jewelry items which are fit for everyday use. There are items which are fit for special occasions too; more often than not, these are gold jewelry which are fit with formal events.

What Dad Thinks: Simple Fashion And Beauty Tips You Should Never Forget

Disclaimer: I am posting this to let women know that men also notice not only their looks and fashion choices but how they carry themselves while wearing their picks.

Please share your thoughts in the comment section of this post. I would really appreciate it.

You might have the face of Scarlett Johansson and the body of Kim Kardashian, but might find a couple of fashion and beauty tips very useful. Our bodies respond differently as we age. We must take care of ourselves and always try to look good, for our own personal fulfillment above all else.

This is something you already know, but keep forgetting. Eat well and sleep right. Too many buffet tables or triple bypass burgers will definitely make you fat, and you don’t want that. If you must eat a ton, make sure you get enough exercise the day after.

Getting enough sleep is also very important. Lack of sleep makes your skin look dull and dry. And dry, unhealthy skin ages more easily. Lack of sleep affects your bodily functions as well as your personal disposition, and a poor disposition makes you less appealing.

Let’s move on to a few very basic fashion ideas for women, well coming from a Dad like me.

It’s better to be overdressed than underdressed.

I’m not suggesting that you wear a turquoise sequined gown to your daughter’s 18th birthday party while she opts for a simple pink satin dress, but it’s probably more acceptable than seeing you in a jumper and rubber boots straight from the garden. People would rather see you stunning although a bit overdressed, than see you looking like a rag.

Keep in mind that it’s always a good idea to dress for the occasion, and to dress your age.

Avoid wearing that skimpy, backless and upper thigh bearing mini dress to your godson’s Christening, as this will leave a negative impression. And try to dress comfortably, and according to the weather. Comfort before style. No trench coats and wool scarves during the summer, please.
